Home Nursing & Care

人无千日好 花无百日红
While a person cannot be perpetually well for a thousand days, flowers too are unable to blossom for a hundred days”

We want to set up Home Nursing and Care Program (HNCP) within a selected locality to render required assistance to the elderly so that they can continue to live within the community for as long as possible.

We envisage HNCP to be a host of care services provided by trained volunteers to the elderly at home so that they can continue to live in the community.

Volunteers shall earn Credit Time (CT) for the duration of service they rendered whereby the CT can be redeemed for themselves or transferred to their nominees in future if such care services are required.  It is akin to the concept of Paying It Forward except that the CT is redeemable as helping others now is helping yourself in future.

Objectives:
To render required assistance to the elderly so that they can continue to live within the community for as long as possible.  Aging in place.

How it works:
- Identify needy elderly
- Recruit/train volunteer to provide the assistance
- Recruit trainer volunteer to provide the training
- Match volunteers to elderly

Status:
Planning, fundraising stage
