Mr Francis Yuen 

 

Francis graduated from NUS with a BBA (1st class honors) and MBA, and attended the Advanced Management Program at Wharton Business School. He was awarded an SAF Scholarship and served 18 years with the RSAF. 

 

He held various senior appointments in ST Aerospace and spent 14 years in Shanghai and Beijing, with global companies including Honeywell, Trane and Ingersoll Rand, as President for Asia. He returned home in 2011 to be CEO of Hong Leong Asia before retiring in 2014. He then served as senior advisor to TYCO International and SP International. He is presently executive chairman of a HK-listed company and Asia Advisor to Spirit Aerosystems. 

 

He was awarded the Commendation Gold Medal by the SAF for outstanding service and the prestigious Magnolia Award by the Shanghai Government. In his free time, he enjoys golf, music and traveling.

Mrs Cecilia Tan

 

Mrs Tan qualified as a pharmacist and started her career with Cold Storage Holdings (Pharmacy division), later renamed Guardian Pharmacy. She was appointed GM and CEO of NTUC Healthcare Co-operative, and launched NTUC Pharmacy, rebranded as UNITY chain. Apart from executive roles, she sat on the boards of NTUC Healthcare Co-operative, NTUC Eldercare and MHC Asia Group. She was a member of the Singapore Pharmaceutical Society and Singapore Institute of Directors. In her retirement, she likes to grow orchids, exercise and read.

Mr Alex Tan 

 

Alex graduated with a law degree in England. His interest is in Trust Law. He is the legal advisor to the Settlement of Dr Lim Boon Keng (1921). He was past Secretary of Singapore Heritage Society, past Secretary of Goh Loo Club, and a council member of China Society. Today, Alex spends his time in researching and promoting interests in the history of Singapore.

Mr Joseph Wong

 

Joseph owns his private practice at Orchard Physiotherapy Centre. He was a Colombo Plan scholar and graduated from Auckland, New Zealand. He completed his bond and has been operating from his clinic for more than 30 years. He takes fitness seriously, having run many marathons and played badminton and then squash at a competitive level.

Ms Michelle Chua

 

Michelle is Director, Senior Client Advisor with UOB Private Banking. She has more than 20 years of experience in banking and wealth management. Michelle holds marketing qualifications from CIM UK and banking and finance certifications. Prior to UOB, she was Team Head at Haitong Securities S’pore, contributing significantly to the launch of the private wealth segment. Michelle started her career with DBS Treasures, then regionally with HSBC, StanChart, JP Morgan and BNP Paribas HongKong. During her leisure, Michelle enjoys cooking and yoga for exercise.
