Over the weekend, our PSCF team visited Mdm S to pass her a 55” TV.
Mdm S is a young single mother of 2 children, and is staying with her mother who helps look after her children while she works. She is the sole breadwinner of her family from her income as an admin assistant.
The family has a limited budget to spend on entertainment, and has thus requested for a TV to keep themselves occupied. This also since Mdm S will be moving out to a rental flat soon, and needs something to keep her energetic children occupied.
We were delighted for Mdm S to have a place to call on her own, given her resilience and desire to provide a better life for her children. It was also nice to know that the feelings were mutual, as she received the TV from 2 of our PSCF directors.
