A little help, a greater hope!
Over the weekend, our volunteers visited two underprivileged families with infant children to provide them with their desired brand of milk powder.
Mdm S is a single mother with two young children. As she has to care for them, she was unable to commit to a job and had to sell personal belongings to meet living expenses.
Mr N has two infant children and is in between jobs, whilst his wife is suffering from mental health problems and is similarly unable to work.
We passed them two tins of Nestle NAN Optipro 4 and S26 Gold Ascenda each.
No infant should have to be deprived of nutrition in the formative years because of his or her family‘s financial circumstances.
Amidst rising inflation, we were glad to have lent a small but meaningful hand to the two families!
