Over the weekend, our PSCF volunteers partnered with Smart Click Services Pte Ltd and met B to help improve his living conditions.
Due to his physical mobility limitations, B is only able to find a job with a Voluntary Welfare Organization that brings in $500 a month. He pays $99 in rent. Regardless, he is very determined to better his circumstance.
He has been staying alone in a rental flat for the past decade, but the living conditions in his flat has deteriorated due to his inability to clean the place.
Besides helping him paint and clean up his flat, our volunteers also helped to furnish it with new beddings, a wardrobe, washing machine, TV, lighting and plumbing to enable him to live better.
We are touched by B's resilience and will continue to work on our mission to uplift the community!
