PSCF volunteers helped two families

This weekend, our PSCF volunteers took the opportunity to lend some help to two families.

Mdm H is a single mother with two children staying in a one-room rental flat. She had previously suffered from a stroke and is working part-time which barely enables her to meet family expenses.

The son has requested for laptop to be able to complete his online school work. We managed to source for a DELL laptop and passed on to her son for his learning.

We also took the opportunity to pass her family some dates for Ramadan and some NTUC vouchers.

We later also met Mdm Y whose husband had lost his job as a result of the pandemic. She had been running out of food rations and tried to apply for assistance from her MP to limited effect.

We visited her and passed her some NTUC vouchers so that she could purchase some groceries for her family and infant daughter. Wishing all a blessed Good Friday weekend!
